Details
DescriptionThe old children's library flooded at the back whenever it rained. The bare concrete floor was so hard that we had to lay pieces of cardboard all over it. A Librarian's lot is not always a happy one, especially before the new Dunedin Public Library was built. Three past librarians of the children's section got together with Bruce Moir, the present one, and several library staff members for a morning tea last week, to celebrate the children's section's seventy-fifth birthday. From left are Mr Moir,Mrs Norah, Sophie Familton, Mrs Dorothy Ballantyne and Mrs Marian Coxhead.
