Main Details
DescriptionA 4WD and raft trip into the Shotover river area, for training purposes for the Dunedin Police SAR Squad. The first hydro power electric plant for the southern hemisphere, that was built in 1886 for the Bullendale battery 2.5 km away. Copper wire runs all the way between to two. The SAREX was held all around this historic area of the Shotover.
