About this GroupKia ora and welcome to the Otago Peninsula Museum and Historical Society which is situated in Portobello at 17 Harington Point Road. We are beside the garage.
The cemetery is just up the road, which is also an interesting place to visit.
We are open every Sunday 12.30-3.30pm. If you want to visit outside these hours then you can email: theotagopeninsulamuseum@gmail.com
Entry is a $2 donation. There is no charge to enter the Museum grounds at any time to wander around looking at the outside exhibits which include the Cape Saunders Lighthouse, a canon, local soldiers memorial rock, bus, various farm machinery, radar room and jail.
