This tablet was unveiled at the opening ceremony Nov. 13th 1946 by His Worship The Mayor of Dunedin D.C. Cameron Esq. L.M. Wright, Chairman Electricity Committee, R.A. Johnston, Town Clerk, G.T. Edgar, City Electrical Engineer, E. Fletcher Roberts, Consulting Engineer, Wilkins & Davies Contractors.
