Being English coming to NZ was relatively easy - similar language and customs.
I left two worlds - middle class English and Thai Buddhist Monk and came to the third world.
What crossed the gap was a new loving family, beautiful beaches, trees and birds.
But now I realise what I gained and also what I lost.
