Judith Curran, Executive Producer - NHNZ.
Judith produces natural history documentaries for the international and domestic market at NHNZ. South Dunedin has a lot of history for Judith. She spent a lot of her teens at St Kilda beach as a “surfie chick”. She says that she wasn’t going to just sit on the beach and watch the boys surfing, she would have a go herself. “I was probably one of the first females to take a board down and actually surf there.”
About South Dunedin, “It’s an idiosyncratic suburb, I think with a lot of very interesting people with great stories to tell.”. She sums it up with “A lot of history, got a good feel, clearly a great community”.
