Keith Gillions, Managing Director Gillions Funeral Services.

Gillions' business has been associated with funeral services in Dunedin since 1874. Keith has been in and around the business most of his life, taking up residence in the old building where he
grew up.

Keith is proud of his multi-generational business which has grown over the years with the city, from its ‘Scottish’ background to the diverse city it is now. Over that time the nature of funerals has also
changed to include modern communication technologies along with the very traditional funerals. Keith says “lifers are those who grew up with the business, the playground was the workshop and caskets”.

Keith also has a background as a system analyst programmer and worked twelve years producing manufacturing and accounting software packages.
