DescriptionThis inaugural episode features an interview with Richard Joseph, QSM, Chair of the Cedars of Lebanon Club. Richard discusses the lives of the Lebanese families who settled in Dunedin.
In 2021 Dunedin Public Libraries secured funding from the New Zealand Libraries Partnership Programme for two years of 1-hour weekly shows, and Recollections Radio's first broadcast was aired on 14th February 2022.
Recollections Radio is hosted by Jill Bowie and Kay Mercer, curators for Dunedin Public Libraries' digital archive, Scattered Seeds, and airs on OAR 105.4FM and 1575AM every Monday morning 11am-12noon. The show is also repeated on OAR on Tuesday evenings at 10pm.
Podcasts are also available to listen to on demand.
