A mock battle, described as "pacifist warfare" by the 'combatants' took place in Evans Street, near Blueskin Bay Library, between the Waitati Militia and an invading horde, Clan McGillicuddy of Hamilton. The battle lasted just under an hour, and included a variety of innovative 'artillery' including confetti, petals and peas.
