The Presbyterian Church Hall at Outram was likely commissioned by Thomas Broadway, who owned the land on which it was built, on behalf of the Outram Societies' Hall Company Ltd. The building was constructed between 1876-1877, but was altered in the early 20th century. The building was further heavily modified in 1960 when it was bought by the Presbyterian Church - additions to extend the hall were made to along the eastern and northern elevations.
