In the early 1900's many Lebanese families settled in Dunedin. They were well known as Hawkers one of which was my grandfather Tobia Isaac. This story relates to his travels and others that travelled the roads of Central Otago and Southland.
This is an extract from the book 'The History of Fort Rose' by Joan McIntosh, published in 1975.
