Taieri Historical Society Park (Reservoir Hill)
The property known as Reservoir Hill was leased from Crown Reserves and the official opening of the Taieri Historical Park with the courthouse on site was held on 21st November 1976.
The Taieri Historical Museum and Park are located on Reservoir Hill, alongside the Outram Vintage Machinery Club, overlooking Outram and the Taieri River - turning right off SH87 at the Outram Bridge on to George King Memorial Drive. The entrance to the Museum and Park is the first turn on the left. Winding your way up the drive you discover there are six historic buildings. The Outram Court House, the Outram Jail, the Outram School Primer Room, Outram Town Board Office, Outram Railway Engine Shed and the Berwick Church. In the Park itself are picnic tables and public toilets and historic farm equipment are dotted around the large park like lawn. Wonderful views of Saddle Hill and the Taieri Plains make this a special place to be.
