A peaceful protest was organised in the Octagon on Sunday 30th March, attended by about 30 people. The Dunedin protest, organised by Jason Fan, was one of many around the world, raised concerns about the free trade deal between China and Taiwan, which protesters considered undemocratic and a threat to Taiwanese service sector jobs.
