Ivan McLachlan and Matt Sheat talk about the current status of the Dunedin Cliff rescue team, but also the current Dunedin general searcher teams, and how these two teams work together.
Ivan talks about a rescue SAROP on the Peninsula, and also talks about the involvement of Red Cross, changes to search techniques . He also talks about mountaineering with Murray Bolt, and the change away from mountaineering . Also discussed is the change in the coordination from SAR advisor to Police, and the Police SAR squad, and how this Police role has changed. They talk about climber Bob Cunningham and also Bruce Clark
